Larry has undergraduate science degrees in electronic engineering technology and manufacturing/industrial engineering and a MS degree in engineering management. He worked for over 30 years in the computer, electronics and aerospace industries. He has served the Board of the Guadalupe Coyote Resources Conservation District from 1994 to 2010. He is also a founding member and current President of the Western Waters Canoe Club, President of Environmentalists for Living Streams, a member of the Silichip Chinook Salmon and Steelhead Restoration Group and a member of the Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition. Larry has completed over a dozen classroom and field courses in river restoration and fluvial geomorphology and consulted on a number of creek restoration projects. He is committed to restoring the steelhead fishery on Santa Clara County Streams.
