Restore Coyote Creek

A Project of the Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition and the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club

Restore Coyote Creek is a project of the Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition and the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club, whose mission is to create a clean and aesthetically beautiful conditions for citizen enjoyment of the Creek and to create healthy environmental conditions for the fish, plants and other wildlife that make their home in or along the creek. We do this through educational presentations to community organizations and schools, projects to remove invasive plant species and replace them with native plants,  projects to develop engineering alternatives for removing barriers to fish migration, leading nature walks, and leading kayak trips on the creek in Milpitas.  Our sphere of influence is Anderson Dam north to San Francisco Bay as it passes through Morgan Hill, San Jose, and Milpitas.
